Two senior men and one senior woman are sitting close together on a couch, looking at a photo album. The woman, on the left, is wearing a pink cardigan and smiling. The man in the center is pointing at a photo with his finger. The man on the right, wearing glasses and a dark sweater, is gesturing with his hand and appears to be telling a story. The scene is indoors with a colorful, modern background, suggesting a moment of social connection, reminiscing, and shared memories.

From October 2-9 2025, our province of Nova Scotia is honoring and celebrating the wonderful seniors in our lives. It's a week to reflect on the contributions made by older Nova Scotians, and to engage with their stories and lessons passed down. This year's theme is "Celebrating Aging Well", featuring a series of online sessions and in-person events.

Events

There are several free events happening this week across the province. Information can be found on www.novascotia.ca/seniorsweek. Keep an eye on local news sources and your community pages for more events happening near you!
