As the Branch Manager for Nova Scotia South, Shannon Osborne brings a diverse background in community service, client support, and relationship-driven work. Before joining Earth Angels, she gained valuable experience with both the March of Dimes and the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON), where she developed a strong understanding of client needs, care coordination, and compassionate support. Her career has also included roles in real estate, retail management, and hospitality, each contributing to her ability to connect with people, understand their goals, and deliver exceptional service. Whether guiding families through important decisions or leading teams with empathy and professionalism, she has built her career around helping others feel supported and confident. She lives in the beautiful Annapolis Valley with her husband, Jeff. They have two adult daughters, one living in the Valley and the other in Bridgewater, and she is a proud grandmother to one very adorable grandson. She is grateful to work with the dedicated team at Earth Angels, supporting individuals in staying safely and comfortably in their homes for as long as possible.
Julie is our Client Care Manager in Berwick, bringing extensive scheduling, coordination, and organizational skills honed over years of managing a major international soccer tournament. She joined the team in 2015 and currently thrives in a role that allows her to make meaningful connections. Julie finds her work profoundly rewarding, whether it’s by matching the right caregiver with the right client or simply offering kindness to a family in need. Next year, she will celebrate her 40th wedding anniversary. She has three grown children and enjoys finding peace in long walks on the beach and listening to the birds.
Shelagh Wright began her story when she moved to Nova Scotia from North Vancouver in November 2020. As soon as she was somewhat settled in her new location, she applied for a caregiving position with Senior Homecare by Angels (now Earth Angels). She has nothing but praise for her new home, expressing her deep affection for Nova Scotia and the Valley, and noting how incredibly kind everyone is. Her clients have enriched her experience, teaching her much about what growing up in rural Nova Scotia was like. She particularly loves seeing pictures of the winters from long ago (while being very grateful those conditions are rare now). For her, homecare truly does not feel like work. She finds that every day is different, and every day presents a new opportunity to bring comfort, compassion, laughter, and joy to the individuals they serve. Outside of her professional life, her passions include family, friends, her four-legged companions, baking, cooking, and exploring new places.
Tiffany Wellwood began her career as a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) in 2016, quickly finding her passion in home care, where she spent eight years in the field. This hands-on experience is now invaluable in her current role as Scheduler and Administrator for the Berwick office. She is dedicated to helping people remain safely and comfortably in their homes, supporting both clients and caregivers with empathy and a well-rounded perspective. Outside of work, she values quality time with her family.
