The Positive Approach to Care (PAC) is a unique and proven method for assisting individuals with dementia. Our team is trained in this approach, which focuses on respectful communication and understanding the individual's changing brain. This allows us to provide more effective, compassionate, and dignified support, promoting a sense of safety and calm.
Every individual is unique. We begin with a complimentary in-home assessment to understand your loved one’s specific needs, preferences, and daily routines. From this conversation, we develop a customized care plan and flexible schedule designed to fit their life and provide the exact level of support needed.
Scheduling an assessment is easy. Simply contact us by phone (902) 405-4400 or through our online booking form, and we will arrange a time for a complimentary visit to your loved one’s home. There is no obligation, and it’s a great opportunity for us to meet and for you to ask all your questions.
Our caregivers are the heart of our service. Each caregiver undergoes an extensive screening process, including criminal record checks, reference checks, and comprehensive interviews. We provide ongoing training, including our specialized PAC courses, to ensure they deliver the highest standard of care
The cost of our services is billed on an hourly basis, with a minimum of 1 hour. Please give us a call (902) 405-4400 or schedule an in-home assessment to understand the breakdown of costs, and your payment options.
