World Alzheimer's Day: Earth Angels Home Care Truro

On September 21st, we celebrated World Alzheimer's Day at Earth Angels Home Care. In our Truro office, we held a fundraiser in support of the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. Our lovely team provided coffee and sweets in exchange for a goodwill donation - and the chance to win a prize bag! A big thank you to our Truro team!

What is World Alzheimer's Day?

World Alzheimer's Day is a global effort to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, challenge the stigma surrounding these conditions, and show support for those affected.

How Can I Show Support?

Showing support for people with Alzheimer's, their families, and caregivers can take many forms:

• Be patient and understanding

• Help create a safe environment

• Encourage independence

• Educate yourself

• Participate in events

• Become an advocate
